This is really neat! Do you have a moment to explain your process a bit? I mean... your background is somewhere between stylized and intensely detailed, where there is just enough detail that I fill in more detail when it fades into textures and mist... your limited palette lends so much to the mood, but it doesn't come across as dull or lazy because there's so much subtle change within the blues and greens and the contrast between the completely black shadows in the foreground and the mist in the background is just... it's just fantastic... and the robot stands out but there's just enough reflection of the surrounding colors that he doesn't look pasted in...

I'm sorry if I am flipping out a little bit, but if I had written down all the things I wish I was better at drawing and given it to someone to draw, it would be this picture.

If you don't have time for this nonsense I will understand completely, but if you only talk about one thing: The coloring technique on that robot. It is nothing I have seen before and everything beautiful. It's somehow crisp and blended at the same time. Some parts seem cel shaded, but some look like gradients, and the whole robot looks so perfectly grimy...

Anyway, thanks in advance if you get the chance to answer any of this. No worries otherwise-- I'm sure it mostly comes down to practice, but sometimes a drawing looks like absolute witchcraft... I figure it can't hurt to ask
